Dr. Jared Miller
Native to the sunny shores of Florida, Dr. Jared Miller began exploring healthcare while attending college at the University of Central Florida, where he completed his studies of molecular and microbiology to earn his Bachelor of Science in 2007. Seeking a more patient-facing and procedure-based role in the health sciences, he found himself amidst the vibrant energy of New York City the following year, starting his professional education at New York University's College of Dentistry.
After earning his doctorate in 2012, Dr. Miller furthered his experience at Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of New York University and a cornerstone of the NYC Health + Hospitals system. There, he undertook a general practice residency, laying the groundwork for a specialization in oral and maxillofacial surgery, a path which he pursued for the next several years. His training encompassed the full scope of the specialty, ranging from maxillofacial pathology, facial trauma, cosmetic and orthognathic surgery, treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, and of course, dentoalveolar surgery.
Now, as a distinguished diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and an active member of multiple professional societies, Dr. Miller remains at the forefront of advancements in the field. Beyond his clinical endeavors, he is a published author and avid participant in conferences across the globe, ensuring he stays abreast of the latest developments. Dr. Miller's expertise enriches the maxillofacial surgery service at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he serves as an attending surgeon, guiding residents in both the operating room and the outpatient clinic.
During his downtime, Dr. Miller unwinds through activities like weightlifting, cycling, scuba diving, and enjoying time with his loved ones and pets.
